What is the philosophy? The human body was designed on the savannahs of Africa. Six million years of evolutionary adaptation created a digestive system that was ideal for the needs and diet of a hunter-gatherer. But since farming and industrialisation the modern world has introduced new food groups, new methods of producing food, adulteration and processing that have placed great stresses on our digestive capacity and created many layers of compensation. Added to this we have new stresses and social pressures that cause us to reach for that will either stimulate, relax or comfort us. The result is poor digestion, weight issues, poor absorption of nutrients and consequently more susceptibility to all sorts of chronic diseases. |

What will i learn and what will i get out of it? From this programme you will get a clear understanding of how the digestive system has evolved and why it struggles with modern diets. You will clearly see the patterns that affect you personally and learn how to progressively return your body to its optimal biochemical state.
