Light Programme - The evolutionary antidote to life and work stresses

The Light Programme uses an evolutionary template to show you how the world works, allowing you to observe and question the patterns of your body and mind, showing you how to create space for better habits and a healthier, happier ‘You’.

This 12-week programme starts by showing you how modern stresses effect everyone’s body, eating and thinking. How desks, computers, cars and televisions have created hunched postures that lead to back and neck pains, stiffness and increased predisposition to injuries; how manufactured foods have robbed us of our instinctive ability to maintain optimal nutrition and force us into self-destructive eating patterns; and how the complex demands of modern life have overloaded out hunter-gatherer brains beyond anything they were designed for, often leading to burnout, disillusionment, indecision, anxieties, fears and a consequent lack of contentment with out lives.

With this knowledge in place you will be shown how to measure the physical, biochemical and mental stresses in your own life and assess the effect they are having on your current and future health. You will then be given tools to gradually remove them from your life, revealing the happy, healthy and vital version of you that exists underneath.

This programme is the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to properly deal with persistent aches, pains or injuries, understand and overcome digestive problems or long-term illnesses, or find out who they really are, why their life follows the path it does and how to return to a relaxed and effective mental state. It is recommended that you attend this course before starting classes or therapies, as it will greatly improve their effectiveness.

The programme involves just 90 minutes of teaching time per week for 12 weeks. In the first three weeks you will learn about how to achieve a healthy body, healthy eating and healthy thinking. You will then be able to put together a plan for yourself, which you will undertake over the following nine weeks. the course costs just £11 per week and is also available in a 1-day intensive version.
